Dong Energy plans a coastal 300MW biomass power biomass in UK

Bioenergyinternational reports that State owned Danish Dong Energy plans to develop a 300 MW biomass power plant in Hull in the north of UK. The plant, near Queen Elizabeth Dock in east Hull, would be capable of supplying enough power for 500 000 homes.
