The deregulation of rail freight transport provides the ability to create solutions together with the pan-European players instead of only with national operators. Companies in Sweden behind ScandFibre Logistics AB starts shipping 2.4 million tons of forest products annually by rail from Sweden to customers near the terminals in Europe.
Transport and logistics services provided by ScandFibre Logistics AB is jointly owned by Billerud, Holmen, Korsnäs, Dynäs Mondi and Smurfit Kappa. The trains will depart from the Swedish service each weekday. The special nodes are joined carriages to block trains and traveling on the bottom of the continent. Industry cooperation provides unique volumes and through the new pan-European players, the whole train brought down to the customer terminals across Europe in just a few days.
