Södra increases the price of pulp

Södra has increased the price of softwood sulfate pulp to USD 600 per ton. The price of bleached softwood sulfate pulp from eucalyptus and birch has increased to USD 500 per ton. The new prices are valid as of 1 May.

"The balance in the pulp market has improved. The production cutbacks that have been made, and the reduced production capacity, have had a positive effect on the market," says Ulf Edman, President of Södra Cell International.
