Södra imposes market shutdown

The pulp market is currently experiencing weak demand and stockbuilding. In response, Södra has decided to limit its pulp production to redress the market’s supply/demand imbalance. Södra Cell’s Tofte pulp mill in Norway will therefore begin a two-month shutdown, effective immediately. Södra Cell’s Folla pulp mill will also shut down from 1 April.
