A new wood preservative product based on silicon

A new wood preservative product based on silicon has been launched. The product named Sioo gives wood mold protection and finish. The effect occurs after mineral silicon crystals goes inside the timber and destroys the harmful organism physically.

Sioo impregnation provides a unique treatment with a lifespan up to 10 years on terraces and about 15 years on house panels. It is a water based and 100% environmentally friendly. Sioo impregnation is patented and owned by the Swedish company Sioo Wood Protection AB in Gothenburg.
