Insiders buy shares in forest companies

Despite this week's stocks plunge, many insiders have been active in forest companies like Norske Skog, Billerud, SCA and Rörvik Timber. Higher prices for pulp and sawn timber contributes to higher profits for forest companies.

Insiders buy shares in norske skog Mocca Invest, owned by Chair of the Board Mr Eivind Reiten, 37,500 shares at a price of NOK 7.99 per share (37,914 shares). Elle Holding AS, owned by CEO and president Sven Ombudstvedt, 248,000 shares at a price of NOK 8.04 per share (248,000 shares). Senior Vice President Gaute Hjelmbrekke Andreassen, 17,700 shares at a price of NOK 8.21 per share (17,700 shares) Senior Vice President Terry Hamilton, 1,800 shares at a price of NOK 8.08 per share (5,094 shares).
