Forest owner association raise timber prices

The forest owner Skogsägarna Norrskog has decided to raise the timber prices.

A stable economy with increasing demand from wood and paper industry give us opportunity to raise prices for forest owners for both timber and pulpwood. The prices of pine hours increased by 25 per m3fub while spruce timber prices increase by 35 crowns. The basic price of coniferous and spruce pulpwood increased by 15 per m3fub to 308 and SEK 320. All price increases will start from 1 March.
- Demand for sawlogs, pulpwood and biofuel is very strong which makes it possible to greatly improve our conditions. These improvements enable both timber as pulpwood prices are again at historically high levels, said timber manager Olov Söderström.
