Alecta buys 6.9 percent of the outstanding shares of the listed Russian forestry and sawmilling company RusForest from Vostok Nafta writes the Swedish newspaper DN.se. Alecta become after the transaction the second largest shareholder in the company, after Vostok Nafta. Vostok Nafta controls 43 percent of the shares in the russian company after the transaction. Alecta is a Swedish life insurance company that manages 1.8 million customers. RusForest, owns over 850 000 hectares, will start the process of initial public offering on the Stockholm Stock Exchange, according to a press release.
